Aishwarya Rai Bachchan Stuns at Paris Fashion Week 2026

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan made her latest Paris Fashion Week appearance on September 28, joining L’Oréal Paris for the ninth edition of its Le Défilé runway show at Place Joffre, in front of the Eiffel Tower. The event brought together a global group of L’Oréal Paris ambassadors and personalities from fashion, film and entertainment.

For the runway, Rai Bachchan wore a dramatic black velvet creation from designer Yara Shoemaker’s Fall/Winter 2026-27 couture collection. The look combined a structured, figure-skimming gown with a sweeping cape covered in crystal embellishment, creating a strong contrast between the dark fabric and the reflective detailing.

Her beauty look added another noticeable element to the appearance. Rai Bachchan wore her hair in a rich burgundy-red shade, while her makeup featured a polished complexion and a defined red lip. The styling kept the attention on the couture silhouette, cape and new hair colour rather than adding competing accessories.

The actor was not the only familiar face on the runway. The L’Oréal Paris show featured international names including Kendall Jenner, Eva Longoria, Simone Ashley, Viola Davis, Jane Fonda, Cara Delevingne and Andie MacDowell. Rai Bachchan was also seen sharing moments with fellow ambassadors backstage and during the event.

The 2026 edition was presented around L’Oréal Paris’ message of confidence, individuality and women expressing their sense of self. The brand also used the Paris event to introduce its new Runway Matte collection, including five shades of Infallible Matte Resistance Liquid Lipstick developed with Indian skin tones in mind. The brand said Rai Bachchan would wear the shade 423 Audacious Red during the Paris appearance.

Rai Bachchan’s appearance therefore combined two distinct elements of the evening: a couture-focused runway look built around velvet and crystal detailing, and a beauty presentation tied directly to her long-standing association with L’Oréal Paris. Her burgundy hair and deep-toned gown gave the look a contemporary edge while the cape and embellished construction supplied the theatrical finish expected from a Paris runway event.
